Not really. Opening your mouth when putting on mascara is just a trick some women use to keep from blinking as much.

Yeah, I noticed a lot of women do that [open their mouth] but it helps to focus so u dont mess up and smear mascara all over your eyes and face. It doesnt matter or not if u want to do it or if ur friends do it, do it if u dont want to mess up ur mascara.

Oh, we can do it, luv, besides the shown fact that it takes some concentration. it is not in comparison to attempting to pat your head and rub your abdomen on an identical time - some thing approximately commencing off your eyes up for the mascara wand makes the mouth prefer to open, too.

naw it dont mean anything when u dont open ur mouth when u put mascara on. it might mean ur talented! XD i cant put mascara on w/o opening my mouth either.

if you wear contacts or have you hands around your eyes a lot then it is probably easier because you are used to it.
girls who open thir mouths when applying mascara are probably concetrating and trying to keep their eyes open because they blink a lot because they aren't used to it
