Ya know, there are numerous websites out there that offer free online Chess and free online Checkers, but I have to admit, I do have my favorites. I came across a really cool website not too long ago. It is Playerplaza.com . On this site, you can play free online Chess and free online Checkers for as long as you want and you get to play against real people from all over the world. You should check it out.

Yahoo has a pretty good community of
chess players. There are different
tables for different skills, there
are controls for playing speed chess
or regular games, and I've met some
interesting players from around the
world.
