my son had them on his checks when he was around the same age.its called"baby acne".you do not want to pop them though.you will irritate his skin.its caused by hormones that were passed through you.(that's not a bad thing so don't worry its natural)what you can do is clean his face with warm water and a mild soap(unscented dove)do not put any kind of lotion on his face.within a couple of weeks his face will clear.my son is 5 months old now and no longer has that problem.if they look inflamed though you will have to check with your doctor to see if she can prescribe a cream. good luck!oh yeah jackieeee.......that comment was really uncall for!!!she needs help and your being real nasty!never talk ill about about a baby....especially since your joking about AIDS.......you probally have it!!!!!!!

It's baby acne...it is more common in baby boys than baby girls and is called by a surge in hormones (1-3 month olds have it the worst)...it is caused by the same hormones that will cause it again in puberty. But the baby levels will even out and it does go away on its own. Two of my three children had it as small babies. We "treated" it with colloidal silver (natural product made by charging water with silver ions...health food stores carry it...it is one of the first know anti-bacterial products. We would just wipe the baby with a washcloth with the silver water on it...that reduces the bacteria on the skin and the acne cleared up much quicker and wasn't so red. But, without treatment, it will clear up once his hormone levels stabilize.

If it's baby acne, it'll go away on its own. No special stuff needed. If it's eczema, try using the Disney Eczema bath soap, Eucerine lotion (doc recommend) and Dove bar soap. All told by my doc to try. Could just be a reaction to soap, perfume (my daughter always got a face rash after my MIL hugged on her), food anything really. Good Luck!

my kids all had baby pimples to some extent. should get them checked out to be on the safe side but they shouldnt be a problem. (Im assuming that they are not bothering him) My youngest also has chicken skin. Dont know the technical term for it, but his skin is just a bit bumpy. Nothing too noticable. Just little bumps on his skin. Could be that too.

A lot of babies get this. Its commonly reffered to as "Newborn Rash" or "Newborn Acne" it will clear up on its own. Just make sure you don't try to "pop" them. If it doesn't clear up in about a week or two you can call the doctor. But mostly it just looks bad, its harmless and will clear up.

It could be baby pimples, it could also be a contact dermatitis, depending on laundry detergent, lotions, bathing shampoos, soaps, etc. Do you put baby oil on him, this many times is the culprit, if you aren't sure or they don't start to go away, check with your doctor, you should probally check anyways, as babies can also get roseola, which are baby measles. Good Luck

It could be baby acne or perhaps a heat rash. Get his doctor to check it out. Your baby probably just needs some kind of ointment.
