I posted a reply to a question only later to find out Yahoo had erased my answer. Why are they playing big brother. Who are they to think they know what is right or wrong.
Are we to believe their way of thinking is right because they are trying to be politically correct.
Why not post all questions and answers and poeple will decide who is right and wrong, without big brother looking over our colective shoulders

They do not want to be held liable for anything. They're just protecting themselves.
Would you want to be held responsible if someone asked if they should kill themselves and and idiot told them to do it because it was funny? And they did?
That is why Yahoo! censors certain questions and answers. I don't blame them. I know that you want freedom of speech (we all do) but we have to realize that there are certain boundaries.

Well for your information yahoo does'nt censor Q&A As soon as you make a decision to post a Q&A it is on the internet almost immediately.So there's no censorship.What happens someone is so offended by what they read,that they report it to yahoo.Then perhaps it may be censored.However it is the the viewer who is the ultimate censorer.The criteria for removing a Q&A is up to yahoo,Personally I'd like to see a less restrictive approach Say 3 or 5 reports before any action is taken

Yahoo doesn't censor. What it does do is enforce the rules you agreed to abide by when you signed up for a Yahoo account and an Answers account. If you violate the rules, you have already agreed to be penalized or outright banned from participating.
Answers is for the sharing of knowledge, not a place to ask questions that clearly are not legitimate, not a place to engage in conversations, etc.
