Yes, I would appreciate a piece of gum. As to why you should give me one is quite obvious ... you asked and I accepted. But if you need more incentive, I believe a piece of gum (which costs about 6 cents) would be a small price to pay for kindness to a stranger. Even those who give money to beggars give at least a quarter. Yet the 6 cent piece of gum adds flavor to the giving. Thank you for the gum my friend.
There are no strangers among enemies and no enemies among friends. Give that you may receive without guilt.

You should give me a stick of gum because I am kindly asking. Please may I have a stick of gum? I like black cherry please. I promise you will feel good if you help a fellow out by completing a nice gesture.
My philosophy is: It's too easy to have an attitude and act tough, anybody can carry meaness with no effort at all. But, friendly people work at it and never take the easy road! Much more fulfilling to be a nice dude/dudette.

I would love a stick of gum!! I think i deserve a stick of gum because i am taking my time do answer a question for YOU!! If I do get a stick of gum, i would prefer that trident kind that you can eat the wrapper!! I want a really minty on to freshen my breath!

Because the wall in my house is actually a Damn wall and right now it is leaking... and I need a piece of gum because I'm not sure what to do... Was afraid this would happen :(

No, i can't have gum with these stupid braces.
I haven't had gum in years. I have had my braces on since June 2003......Almost 4 freakin' years! I HATE it now.
