I worked in a nursing home when I was 18 &19 yrs old, I met some of the most wonderful people there, some I will never forget. Beautiful people, it's left me with the love for caring for old people, even though I don't work in nursing homes anymore. I had met a 82 yr old man at a store I worked at and he became one of my best friends, 10 years later he was the best man at my wedding. 1 yr later he died, I will never forget him. Goes to show you how jobs early in life can sometimes influence you forever.

My current job, actually. I'm enlisted in the United States Air Force in the communications career field. I've been a few places, seen a few things. Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt. There are a lot of awesome things to be seen when you get paid to go bunches of places. You'd never imagine how beautiful, even how metropolitan other countries can be. The skyline of Doha, Qatar is absolutely incredible. It looks almost like some resort you'd find in the Caribbean. Granted, it's hotter than hell, there (over 100 F most of the time), but the scenery is well worth it. The City Center Mall is absolutely massive. It makes the malls here in the states look like convenience stores.

When I worked for Western Union back in the late 70's when we launched America's first domestic communications satellite. And I actually participated in the launch process. For any kid who ever dreamed of space, and followed our space program as I did that was the greatest thing that ever happened to me.
