yes because amoxicillian does not contain pain relief. Just make sure it is infants tylenol and you give the correct dosage according to the package.

There is no problem giving them Tylenol with an ear infection but if you want the pain to be helped even better call the doctor back. Ask them to call in some ear drops for your baby. You simply warm some water and put the bottle in the water for a bit. It heats up the medicine so it goes down in the inner ear and it warms their ear and helps with the pain. This is very helpful for most babies with this problem. Good luck. I have a 4 month old who has one right now and it is painful for us both.

maximum ear infections are viral and heal through themselves (and antibiotics would do not have any effect on them). some are bacterial and would use antibiotics. medical doctors determination; some will prescribe antibiotics straight away; others will wait somewhat and spot if it is going away through itself, and if no longer, prescribe antibiotics then. 3 of my little ones have had persistent ear infections and that i many times wait some days in the previous i bypass in because i recognize the physician will in the different case tell me to go back lower back in some days. although, with a 6-month-previous, i must be more desirable careful, and in all likelihood take them in only in case. there is different topics previous the ear an infection and also you do not go with to depart out them.

Yes. make sure to give tylenol by weight. The best thing to do is alternate Infants tylenol w/ Motrin. Its' less harsh on the liver.

Yes - one medication is working on one thing and the other covers something else.
(I wouldn't give Tylenol and Motrin - because those are doing the same job.)

If your not sure, call the doctor office and speak with him or a nurse. If they're not available, call your pharmacy. They can tell you if you can mix the medication or not.
I do this all the time, because I forget to ask while at the doctor's office.

Yes, of course. Your doctor should have told you that. Just follow the directions on the bottle for the correct amount.
Good luck
