You can easily control dollar weed with several chemicals.Scott's makes two types of fertilizers that have a herbicide to kill dollar weed.Just pick the right one for your grass. If you just want to spray it then Weed-be-Gone by Ortho works very well. The best is Speed-Zone .You can find it at most Tractor Supply stores. You don't need any type of license to apply any of these products.Good Luck.

Dollar weed can be tough, usually a dose of a trimec solution of some type will work. The main problem is that the leaves are so waxy that most solutions just bead up on the plant, so you will need to use quite a bit of surfactant (wetting agent, spreader sticker). There is a product on the market that is a tri mec solution plus a chemical called carfentrazone that works faster and and needs no surfactant, but I don't know if I can mention it on here. Check with your local chemical sales for recommendations. Most states require a "restricted use" label, requiring only licensed professionals to apply these since they contain the chemical 2-4-D. There are other options, but most are less effective.

Sell it to college kids to smoke! Just joking...If it is in an area with no grass or desireable plants ROUND UP will kill it. If it is in spots that have grass and nice plants you can try using a specialized solution that is usually applied with a special attachment on the end of the hose. I know that ORTHO makes a specific application solution for dollar weed I just cant recall the name of it...maybe check their website or check one of the big stores like home depot, lowe's or even wal-mart.

Cut back on irrigation. You will be amazed how much that one thing helps.
