Brighton's not too far, how about going there? Plenty of fun stuff to do, great shops, restaurants, pubs (noisy ones and not so noisy ones), cafes, great beach for a bracing winter walk....

With cheap flights to Dublin you cant go wrong.The fun places are Templebar near OConnell st every thing is close by .Hope this helps if you need more info contact me as i live in Ireland and was a bus driver in the city .Cheers (ps is the sugar loaf pub still open!)

to brighton...it is so interesting...if you are interested in the arts and cool interesting shops. the scenery is beautiful....i live near by and there is no place friendlier and with more interesting people...even if you are NOT gay!
