I think they date older men for stability. Older men usually are not into games. They usually know what they want and are ready to make the commitment. Younger guys can be charming and alot of fun. They can make you feel young again. Some woman are kids inside and need a younger man to fulfill there inner needs.

From what I have seen personally, women date older men due to the older men generally have their head out of their A S S.
On occasion you will find a old one with it still there though.
If the younger men think they can keep up with the older women, I say more power to them & vise versa.

Usually because older men are more mature and know what they want in life, and know how to please a woman in bed. I am finding that more women are dating younger men, I think it is because it opens up the dating pool more and gives them more options.

I think it's more because it is/was a norm. In olden days, girls would only be married off to men older then them. And i suppose it has been embedded in our psyche that this is wut is best for us women. But i see that in today's world this tradition no longer holds bearing like it did in the past. With more & more women dating younger men, this could very well set to be the norm in the future!

I feel this question was aimed at me, I am married to a man who is 15 years older than myself. I started dating him because I was tired of the partying and games the guys my age were doing. An older man has already done his share of partying and are generally not interested in games. They want someone to take care of, and women generally want someone who is mature enough to want to take care of them. I don't mean take care of financially, I mean emotionally. I felt much more safe and comfortable in the knowledge that my man had already (sown his wild oats) so to speak, and was ready to settle down to a home and family. We have been married almost 17 yrs. with no end in sight, so I guess in my case I was right. Hope this helps!

An older man is more likely to be able to provide for them when they are having the kids and bringing them up. Its a survival strategy which probably goes back as far as the human animal;

i dont date guys younger than me unless its only a few months i dont like immature boys that are still playing stupid little kid games and watching simpson or king of the hill when im older i might date someone younger but for now younger means immature
