No you need another program like Microsoft Excel. There is another office suite call Open Office 2.0 that is free, it does not do as much but you can accomplish spreadsheets without spending a fortune on Microsoft Office 2003

You need Microsoft Office to create documents, spreadsheets, and presentations. Microsoft Office contain the following applications:
- Microsoft Word (for creating documents)
- Microsoft Excel (for creating spreadsheets)
- Microsoft Database (for creating data-bases)
- Microsoft Power Point (for creating presentation slides)
Microsoft Office is not a part of the Windows XP.
You need to buy Microsoft Office separately.

I have XP Home Edition too, and my WordPerfect came with Quattro Pro (which is a spreadsheet).
If you have that task pane that sits to the left of any document: click the blue asterisk at the top of the pane to make sure you're on the home pane (it should be titled WordPerfect), choose New Project/Existing Document from Start. Under the Create New tab, there should be a drop-down list. If Quattro Pro Notebook isn't in the drop-down box, click the box and it should appear at the top of the list. After Quattro Pro Notebook is selected, click Create and you should then be in the Quattro Pro spreadsheet.

The easiest way is using a spreadsheet program like Excel. If you don't have Excel, go into Word and create a Table in your Word document. Go into the Table drop-down menu, then use Insert Table. You can specify how many rows or columns you want your table to have. If you underestimate what you'll need, go back to the Table drop-down menu and pick Insert Column (or Row). It's the easiest way to do it if you don't have a spreadsheet program. You can also format the lines of the table to however you want it to look.

You may also have Microsoft Excel on your computer. Check your list of programs. Excel is a spreadsheet program & is layed out as such. You can control the size of the sections & labeling (as well as inputting whatever data you wish).
