Ok first off, the BEARS DONT have the number one defense. They were ranked 5th in the NFL (NFL.com). Second off, as any analyst will tell you, the Bears had the 2nd to easiest schedule in the NFL, meaning their D vs. O percentenge was INSANELY easy. Second, the Colts defense is statistically the best Defense in the playoffs right now. Third, the Colts faced the defense that was actually ranked NUMBER ONE in the NFL being the RAVENS. If you recall, the Colts out D'ed them in every aspect including pass D, and run D. The colts Defensive is more explosive than Chicagos, and the run won't do anything for chicago. Indianapolis is averageing an allowance of only 76 yards running per game. If they can hold Larry Johnson, and Lewis to this amount of yards, they can sure as hell hold Cedric Bensen and Jones. I predict that Chicago doesn't rush for anything over 65 yards against Indy. Why?? Because Chicacgo will have to pass. what does this mean?? This means they will have the pass on the best pass rush D in the NFL along with the quickest coverage in the NFL... MORAL= Indy D is a better D than that of the Chicago D.
SO.... now... for the offense. The Indianapolis Offense is premier, easily the best offense in the NFL. Hands down. I don't care what your "numbers" said about New Orleans, this and that. Bottom line, if the Bears had the Indy Playoff schedue, THEY WOULD BE DONE. They would NOT beat Baltimore, OR New England. Also, if the Bears were even in the AFC... they would not even be in the playoffs.
Prediction: Colts 38, Bears 7

Will Bears fan get off the high horse your defense is not that good. Number one in the NFL yeah but, the NFC is the weakest conference. When they played AFC teams this year they lost both of them. Lowly Miami Dolphins and New England. Your defense hasnt faced and offense like the Colts. The Bears have so many holes in the secondary Peyton will think its target practice. Face reality the Bears are only the best in a weak NFC conference. Colts win this one by 24 points.

Cotls: 31 Bears: 24 The Ravens could not stop the Colts from scoring, so I don't know why anyone would think that the Bears will be able to stop them.

The Colts would have to score to win, and the only one that will score is Adam Vinateri. The Bears will stop Peyton on every drive, but they have a weak offense, so their defense will probably be the only scores for the Bears. I see a low scoring game that will be a battle royale. Bears win 17-15.

There's no denying destiny. Tony Dungy and Peyton Manning have walked a long road with a lot of heartache to get to this point. It will take more than the Bears to get them to walk down "Heartache Road" again.

BEARS WILL WIN IN VERY LOW SCORING GAME! NUMBERS DON'T LIE. IN THE PAST WHEN THE AFC IS FAVORED BY 7 POINTS OVER THE NFC THE NFC USUALLY BEATS THEM STREIGHT UP OR WHEN THE NFC TEAM DID LOSE, IT WAS NEVER MORE THEN 3 POINTS.
BOTTOM LINE: IF YOU BET THE GAME TAKE THE BEARS PLUS THE SEVEN POINTS!
