Sorry hun, but stretch marks are permanent. They do fade with time if they appear purpleish then they will lighten up. I dont know what PCOD is but I dont think anything would cause stretch marks other than your genetics. Some people are just more prone to getting them whether they gain a lot of weight or not. Some people who get pregnant dont get stretch marks, just like some people who gain a lot of weight dont get stretch marks. If you are really concerned about it, try to find a lotion with Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter in it or better yet, just buy the stuff straight and run it on your marks every day. There are no miracle creams to rid you of these stretch marks but some creams will help them fade faster or become less noticeable. Your skin is stretching from the inside out, so there is no topical agent that will work miracles no matter what the advertisements say. I got my first streth marks at age 12 from a growth spurt all over my hips and some on my breasts but they are almost invisible now and look NOTHING like the ones I got on my belly with my four pregnancies. There are make ups you can use to blend or tone down the darkness if you really feel uncomfortable about it but its actually very common so dont sweat it too much. Good luck things!

Well there is good news and bad news. Some people's skin are just more proned to stretch marks than others. more bad news they don't ever really go away. However the can fade over time. There are several products on the market that claim that they can remove stretch marks most of them don;t work. The popular natural remedies are coco butter, vitamin e oil. I think palmer has a product to prevent stretch marks. My friend used it when she was pregnant ( i know you never have been pregnant and you are not now.) and says it works. Now losing and gaining weight rapidly will not help your situation. So try to make your weight loss gradual. Most of us have to simply live with them and maybe have them faded to a degree. Good luck.

stretch marks may sometimes appear because of dehydrated skin that's why it's not as elastic as it should be.

so one solution is to moisturize it...Try using Palmer's Cocoa Butter lotion or the Cocoa Butter Tummy Lotion for Stretch Marks...

use any body butter or lotion that has Cocoa Butter & Vitamin E. both are very good for skin regeneration.

palmer's got lotsa products for scars and stretch marks...
i used palmer's for my scar it workd! im sure their stretchmarks line works too... :)
