Well, most 13 year old boys are starting to get picky with brands and such. And if he likes polos and jeans, I suggest shopping at American Eagle, they are trendy, and seem to follow that style!

I may not be 13 any more but polo shirts, jeans, and cargo pants is pretty much all I wear so I'll tell you what I like. This spring Old Navy has a nautical theme with a lot that looks good in addition to a wardrobe like that. If he isn't doing it already you might want to try getting colored t-shirts to wear under the polos. I feel like it adds a little more style than just a plain white undershirt or nothing at all plus during the day the polo shirt can be removed.

Old navy also has some nice jackets that look pretty good over polo shirts such as their lightweight hooded jacket and their Crest patch track jacket.

For spring Old Navy also has some solid polo shirts with striping around the edge of the collar. I would stay away from those, they just don't look right to me... especially the pink one. The extra colors on there makes the pink one look even more feminine than a plain pink polo shirt looks, which just makes it even harder to look like you have style wearing it.

And by the way if you are wondering why I know so much about what old navy has it's because I work there... and I happened to be at their website as well as on this page. To be fair however, I work at old navy because I like their clothes (at least for guys... often I don't know what they are thinking with the womens clothes).

Anyway I hope that helps.

Try Abercrombie Kids, Old Navy, or Gap Kids. He might not be big enough to go to the regular Abercrombie or American Eagle Outfitters. I would try those places, as they have some nice things. If you're willing to pay more, you can try Macy's or another department store that carries designer clothes.
