But I'm reading and asking so I can give her a nice, confortable life. The thing is that I don't know if it's O.K. that she pis a lot, every time I pick her up she pi's on my hand, on the sofa, on the bed, every where, and I read they usually pi only on their spot. Can you please help me with this? Thank you very much and have a great day!

Your little pig is not only nervous, but probably young! Young guinea pigs, under 8 weeks or so, pee about every 10-20 minutes. So, what you can do to slowly train her is this:

Pick her up several times a day. Have a towel in your lap and just hold her there, stroking her back lightly WITH the hair, not against it. keep her out for 5 minutes, then put her back. Next time you take her out, keep her out longer. If she ever pees int he towel, put her back right away.

When you can hold her for 20 minutes (This should take about a week, maybe longer) without her peeing, then go ahead and let her run loose. Be sure her run area is clear of all wires and other dangers, and don't leave her unsupervised.

If PI means pee, then she's probably nervous.

Most animals pee when nervous or as a threat.

Just hold her every day, hold her close. Talk to her quietly. Give her whole carrots to nibble from your hand! She may not take to them the first few times, but soon she will just hog em down right from your hand.

Always be quiet and gentle. When she learns that you are kind to her, she will soon come to expect you and your attention. If you put her down every time she pees on you, you may teach her to keep doing it. So wash, then pick her right back up. Hold her while you watch tv.

Honey,stop worrying about where she's pissing,okay? The important thing is that she's -doing- it. Is it cloudy? Is it dark? Is there blood in it? If it looks like normal urine,don't worry about it. Guinea pigs don't usually train themselves in 4 days.

Rodents pi, as they see no reason to hold it in.

Shes nervous of being handled. Continue handling her and she will stop as she gets used to you;

So why are you picking her up so often? The obvious answer would be that you stop picking her up.
