Have they been to college or have they found the answer by experiencing Life or?

I often wonder the same thing myself. The only answer I can come up with is that this is what many people do to for fun. Even I can say that it is rather amusing to sit here and answer a bunch of questions. Beyond that, many people that are in the higher levels have been using Yahoo! answers for several years...so those points rack up.
Granted, there are some people that must sit at the computer all day, doing nothing but answer questions. My guess is that they are unemployed and have no want to find a job, or that they are living off off retirement or something...or they're just complete bums.

I know a lot of stuff because I read a lot and part of my job is to research on the web. I went to college and have had experiences that help me answer. But it amazes me that people have the TIME to do nothing but answer questions. Don't they have to work?

They're just using their experience and they're willing to help. It's important to have education, but look at me: I'm only 16 (obviously not in college :)) and I'm answering all over the place! :)
