Almost Skateboards are by Dwindle. Dwindle Distribution is one of the world's largest skateboard manufacturer and distributor, comprised of seven brands - Almost, Blind, Darkstar, enjoi, Tensor, Speed Demons, and World Industries.
Personally, as much as I like Rodney Mullens, I don't like their decks. They break too easily. Their weight is average...not heavy, but not lightweight either.
If you want lightweight, buy an element featherlight/fiberlight or any board with a middle layer of fiberboard. Go to your local skateshop and ask their opinion.

I dont really like almost boards, they are light, however they dont have very good pop on them.
So you wont get as much air when you do tricks and it'll be much harder to skate it
I prefer Plan B's over most boards.
I also like minilogos They only cost thirty bucks because there is no graphic on the bottom. But they still skate just as well as any other board.

Even a skatboard that is considered heavy is pretty light
