Don't you ever think about how many terrorists have been killed? How the media journalists are just staying in heavily armed compounds while they just listen. But there are some good journalists out there who are doing their best to get the truth.

The media is controlled by liberals. They don't want to tell you how many enemy combatants have been killed because that would give you a more positive spin on the war. They don't want the war. They don't want support. They will report the side that helps their agenda.

Remember all of the focus on Abu Ghraib? How much focus was there on our victory in Fallujah (I was there), or Najaf (I was there), or Mosul (I was there)? They don't want you to side with the military. They want you to piss and moan like they do and buy their paper or watch their channel and swallow what they feed you. It's not the government that is controlling the news. It's the liberal media.

To the guy that says the foreign media is more accurate:

The foreign media is just as inaccurate. How many times have they incorrectly stated that people have been kidnapped and killed only to reverse the story later? No media is accurate. They want newspaper sales and ratings. They are all the same. The best option we all have is to listen to both sides objectively and make our opinions from the best information possible.

There is no way to report the war positively. People are dying. Not just militants and terrorists but US soldiers, mostly young men, and Iraqi civilians. And the more people we kill, no matter if they are terrorists, children or grandmas, the more terrorists we create. There is nothing positive about this scenario.

American media is heavily restricted by government policies to forcefeed the US people with only a limited amount of news to suit their interests, they do not get the full picture. Try the 'Indymedia' website for an unbiased review of world events.

The negatives make good news. Positives happen slowly over time, and that's a story for historians, not newspeople. But most folks forget that, and don't have much of a knowledge of or interest in history anyway.

3,000+ American soldiers dead....and plenty of journalists that have been killed or wounded, as well. How in the hell is ANYONE supposed to polish that one up? I am glad that the media is showing what is really happening over there as opposed to what the government would like us to think is happening.

Terrorists?

You mean the insurgents fighting against foreign invaders?

The don't report negatively - they report the facts. If the facts happen to be unpleasant - don't blame the people reporting them.
