There are a LOT of different ways to get scholarships.

Straight A's are good obviously.
Getting good SAT/ACT scores is also good, so I'd consider taking a practice test or two to make sure you score your best.
Get involved in some clubs/volunteer organizations/sports.
Be a leader!!!! President of a club, start your own club, start a volunteer activity, organize a blood drive, organize a donation box, etc.

Straight A's and good test scores are fine but getting involved or volunteering is what really seems to help. Some national organizations have their own scholarships that you can only get if you join them.
