It is a new technology, some have two engines to maintain, depending on the fuel to be used and the new filling stations, or solar power, or electric driven vehicle. They are affordable now to some, and hopefully they will be available at a more affordable price however that surely will take time to be worked out. It will be great not to be depending on foreign oil sources.

Uhhhh, Why? Hybrids actually cost more to manufacture and the demand for the darn things is very high which raises the price eveb more.

When they start making them by the millions, such as gas vehicles, then and only then will the price come down.

Example.
If you make one piece an hour that part is $60
If you can make 30 parts per hour that part is $2
If you can make 120 parts per hour that part is 50 cents.
Production volumes are critical.
It has to do with the all mighty dollar.

yeah

when they can run on whatever fuel is most readily available, I guess thats best when you have to get someplace.
