just try it, if they dont have the leg strength to hold their body up, then its too early. my baby was 5 1\2 months old, but she still didnt walk until 11 1\2 months

Well, I staring walking without holding on to anything at the age 11 months. I'm now the fastest on the track team. I'm sure when the baby starts walking about the house holding on to stuff, its is unpredictable though.shouldn't be a problem. When the baby starts walking, it means they're trying to go to the next level. Ages 11-13 months.

both my kids would stand up, with my help of course, at just a few weeks. I'd let them stomp there feet on my legs and i'd hold them up. when they were about 2months i would walk with them. the older they got the more they wanted me to do it and my daughter, now 3, walked at 8 months and my son, now 9 months, walked at 7 months. Dont know if thats why, but i started letting them push their feet against me very early.

well all baby´s are different, my daughter when she was about 9months´ started to pull herself up by holding on to the coffee table , most of the time she used her little walking chair , then one day , she was just playing on her own I went to the kitchen turned and there she was she had walked from the sitting room by herself, that was at 10 month´s, my son started at 9 month´s walking on his own , I think the little walking chair helps them a lot as they stand on there own and walk around , which gives there little legs strength , I also think that baby´s when they are ready they just get up and go . we are always in a hurry for them to talk & walk , then sometimes we wish we never rushed them . enjoy your child they grow up too fast

No time is too early. The wobblier they are, the more you have to hold them. I would walk my son ( at around 1 year old) to the store 4 blocks away just holding his hand. Pretty soon after that he was on his own.

My son has been doing it since 3 months. He wouldn't have been able to do it any sooner. He's 4 months & 3 weeks now, and his legs are very strong. Even with as big as he is (22 lbs), he has no problem holding his weight up and taking steps as long as somebody is there to help him balance (holding on to fingers).

My son was a preemie (Almost 3 months early) and I started doing this when he was 4 months old (1 month corrected age), as advised by his occupational therapist.

I walked alone at ten months and accroding to my mom i was stading at five months. I think you need to let your child tell you. If he/she is trying to do that and they are enjoying it without pain then go for it. I would just amke sure the child can hold their head up first.
