With the proper equipment, yes. It's called compressed wood or fiberboard.
In my case, I bag my sawdust, pack it as tightly as possible, and burn it in the fireplace.

Yes. It's called MDF (medium density fibreboard) -- sawdust and glue. Made famous by every DIY programme on TV.

They do that all the time by the way.Its done under high pressure and glue.
The latest ones they are working on will be on the market end of this year.
