First of all, I do not know whether your iPod is set for manual update or automatic update. So, I'll explain both and tell you how to resolve the issue under both circumstances.
If your iPod is set to MANUAL UPDATE:
You drag & drop your files from your iTunes library to your iPod in order to add them to the device. If this describes how you update your iPod, then click your iPod under "devices".If you are using the latest version of iTunes (7.0.2), Click "Music" under your iPod. Highlight the song and hit the delete button on your keyboard, or right-click it and then "delete".
If your iPod is set to AUTOMATIC UPDATE:
Then your iPod adds the songs in your iTunes library to your iPod upon plugging the device into your computer. To keep the song in your library but out of your iPod, click the checkbox to the left of the song title. Right click on your iPod under "Devices" on the left-hand side of the iTunes window and click "Update".
Hope this helps.

If you go on the music folder of your ipod, and find that song, and right click on it, and press delete, you should be able to get it off your ipod. But if your asking if you can get your money back, I don't think you can.

You go to the library on itunes that syncs with your computer. If your ipod syncs automatically, it should delete the song once you delete it from the computer's itunes library...If it doesn't sync automatically, find the option that allows you to do it manually...
