Do some people just enjoy saying ugly things and belittlling people. I remember when I was 12 that it was more common. I wonder why kids like to say things to "cut each other down " so much. What is worse is when they dont change and become adults like this!

Their own insecurities and fear--bullies and angry people are quite insecure, live with inner fears (of which they are usually unaware of) and lack an understanding of themselves. As a result, they must vent their emotions. They are people who are really shaking in their own boots.

Add to this the fact that society, in general, is greatly lacking in civility, these days. Good manners and civilized behavior is rapidly declining with rude behavior becoming the norm. The society is in a state of degeneration. This will most likely, and unfortunately, continue to occur.

In the final analysis, it is up to each individual to cultivate and be responsible for their character. This can only be done through self-examination, reflection and introspection, as it is not being accomplished in homes or the schools.

Yes, I know exactly what you mean. These people are unsure of themselves and fear that you are more popular or clever than they are. The only way that they can make themselves feel better is to belittle you. Just smile at them and say 'Thanks very much for that. It was very helpful and kind.' Make sure that everyone else hears you. The little s**t will probably be unable to reply.

Some people just do not know how to be kind or care to.They are in a position to belittle others because they are un seen and can not be recognised. They probably would never do it to anyones face. They are cowards who get a rush hurting others

I actually have observed you make an attempt to apply the astounding spelling and use of punctuation.
