In my opinion, no he won't return...But if he was smart, he would. The last 2 times he tested Free Agency, he landed with the Lions & Browns - He was a bust in both cities. In Philly, yeah when McNabb recovers, Garcia will be benched - but he will be in a better situation. Just look at this year, he's on a better team who rallied around him, who won games...
Teams looking for a starting QB in F.A. aren't teams that will contend. All the winning teams (or decent teams) had good, healthy starters or reliable backups - Bledsoe & Romo, McNabb & Garcia, Grossman & Greise, McNair & Boller, Culpepper & Harrington...The bad teams that were screwed at QB - Simms & Gradkowski, Leftwich & Garrade, Frye & Dorsey, their teams suffered...Then there are teams so screwed up, they will pay Jeff Garcia big bucks to come in, Oakland, Washington, Minnesota.
I just feel that at 36 years old, he doesnt want to be a backup on a good team, he's a player, he wants to start, no matter where...Plus the $ doesn't hurt.

The Eagles should try to keep him. McNabb has a history of getting injured alot, so to have Garcia around would certainly help them.

yeah too bad he is the better QB for that team than mcnabb. all he wants to do is air it out 50 yards and have stallworth try to dive for a ridic catch. he is the better man for that position since he is smart and gets to the endzone gradually.
