I had to get my ears pierced twice and both times I had it professionally done and by two diffrent companies, I didn't find it painful at all but I wouldn't recommend Claire's or Icing they screwed one of the piercings up on my ears and I had to get the earring surgically removed out of my ear and then wait for it to heal and get it re pierced.

Well, it's going to hurt a little bit, obviously....but not very much. I got my ears pierced when I was four (I remember it) and it just felt like a small pinch. Then when I was 12 or 13 I got them double pierced and it still felt like just a pinch. I got my belly button pierced when I turned 18 last year, and it hurt a little bit more, but not nearly as much as you would expect....so that all being said, you'll be fine, just stay relaxed and don't worry about it. ;) Enjoy!!

no, it doesn't hurt. it just stings a little bit.
when i got my ears pierced, my mom made sure that there would be two people at the place (it is called "piercing pagoda" and is at some malls) so that they could pierce both my ears at the same time, so i wouldn't chicken out or whatever.
good luck!

Not at all! I got mine done twice professional and did it myself. They use an ear piercing gun so it is instant. And the earrings are what pierces the ear. :) goodluck.
You're hot.

I can honestly say it does hurt a tad, Maybe like someone clipping a hair clip to you ear. But then its over for awhile. You will feel some slight tenderness after tho but keep them clean by soaking any earrings in rubbing alcohol and using cleaning solution on your ears. Good Luck!

It hurts, but it's not really a lingering pain. Any lingering pain would be more because you remember how much it hurt. It's not really that bad except for the moment it's done. If they are something you really want...you'll be very happy you got it done because it's not that bad and it's worth all the pretty earrings you can put in them.

No, it really doesn't hurt. You may feel a little sting. The important thing is to take care of the piercing afterwards by cleaning it as instructed by the piercer. If it gets infected, then it will hurt.

It depends on your level of pain threshold. I have six holes in each ear. The sting was really quick; it didn't hurt too much. After you get them pierced, be sure to rotate (twirl them around) the earrings so they won't get stuck to the ear while healing.

After about six weeks, when you take them out, you can use Cortizone cream like Cortizone-10 to help alleviate the itching. I would take mine out after about two weeks to wash it and put Cortizone cream. Then I would put them back in so the holes wouldn't close.

Hope this helps. . .

P.S. I didn't get the six holes at once. . .(smile)

It would not harm in any respect, basically a sprint sting while the needle is going by way of for a short 2d, and because you have had them pierced b4 i think it is going to likely be much less perplexing on u . with the aid of fact the exterior there has already been broken into. purely take a deep breath close ur eyes, and while u open them it is going to all be over :)
