Sometimes we love being in love, maybe what you miss is what you wanted it to be not what it was...good luck...chin up, it will get better.

Because the mind has decided and "thinks" it is right. The mind may indeed be right. The heart "feels" love, a love that knows no bounds. So, the heart feels that it can "make things work". The heart is asking the mind to help it make things work. Now if the mind has found a better way, and a lot of times, it does, it should be able to convince the heart to follow, for a while at least.

I agree with everyone else that the pain will go away in time. Another area that may be affecting you is the loneliness of not having that other person in your life to do things with. Things as simple as fixing dinner together or having someone else to go to a movie with. Even though your mind knows it was "fax" you still had that other person to do things with. I wish you the best of luck during this time.

It's as though we are two people. One has the brain, and the other the emotions. Very often those two are in conflict.
It's like that wonderful song "Smoke Gets In Your Eyes". When we love someone we can't see them as they really are, so 'smoke gets in our eyes' and we are blinded.
Be gentle with you. Be kind to you. Realize that you are grieving - it is a death - of the dream. It will take time and sadness and gently opening your eyes to the beauty of the world around you . That takes time to 'smell the roses'. That will be helpful.
Best wishes.

Because you've already conditioned yourself on the "ideal" for certain situations, so when the "ideal" is betrayed, the heart (emotions) won't accept the truth from the brain. It is called PASSION, and that, my friend, has ruled the brain from the day of creation.

It will go away. It's just going to take time. Your mind knew it but your heart was touched. Iam sorry if you were hurt. Remember This to shall pass.

It wasn't fake. Let yourself feel it, let yourself hurt and give yourself time. Maybe he didn't love you, but you loved him. Keep loving him, you just get to learn to live without him.

it is much more easier to change mind than to change heart...when you believed in something, your heart will hold on to it....mind can think rasionally, but not heart...
your heart is hurt, and usually time is the cure....
be strong...smile and the world will smile with you....
