I finally decided between getting the new video ipod (80 GB) and getting the Creative Zen Vision W. The Zen was more expensive, and had less memory; it was also larger, so I chose the ipod. I was wondering if I should get it now, or wait to see if apple comes up with a better ipod? Also, what do you think is better, white or black? I personally like white, but a lot of people say I should get black. Is there a difference between them, besides color?
Thanks.

There is no difference between the colors of the iPods, given they do not differ in size as well. Apple is supposedly coming out with one or more new iPods later this year, but the upgrades most likely won't be worth holding out for that long. Apple is often releasing new iPod updates available for free download from the Apple website, so you have no need to worry about your iPod becoming obsolete very soon. All iPods available in stores are automatically up-to-date. iTunes is an EXCELLENT way to get music and movies, as well as music videos and podcasts. iTunes can import WMA files and mp3s, and you can burn your playlists to CDs.
Any other question, just ask.

OK, first of all.......Apple will ALWAYS come out with something more advanced then the previous. So, your stuck with that. I have the 30GB i-pod and love it. It plays video and holds about (i think) 30,000 songs. I have the white. I personally think when you buy other accessories that there are more white then black. As for difference the only difference would be color. Apple just wanted a kind of variety in i-pods.

The major problem with the iPod is that when the battery finally wears out it is a major expense to replace it. I would look for an MP3 player with replaceable batteries.
