I think it's the most amazing, selfless gift a woman can give. It's so hard for people who want a baby, but just can't. I applaud any woman willing to share her body like that.

If you are able to do it that is great. It takes a lot of strength to carry a child for 9 mths then give that baby up to someone else. Then you have the problem of if something is wrong with the babies they may not want it. Sometime if it is the wrong sex they may decide they may not want it. So if they do decide to do this they got to way all the pros and con. It is a tough decision to make and a lot could happen. But for someone who could give a couple child is the most wonderful give. If they are a couple who really wants a child then they will accept that child whether it is perfect or not. Good luck with that decision

If someone has the strength to be a surrogate that is great and I have a lot of respect for a woman who can do that. I know that I would not be able to carry a baby for 9 months and than give it up even if it wasn't mine in any way.

I'm not going to talk religion.
My opinion is YES! If the 3 people involved have completed the necessary therapy and are on the same page about this then there is nothing wrong with it.
My mom has actually offered to do this for me. Since I was told I would never have kids. (I have actually had 1 without drugs or anything!)

I think it's beautiful and very unselfish of the woman. Kudos to her! I wish there were more selfless people out there that would do this sort of thing :) I personally couldn't. I don't really enjoy being pregnant that much LOL and to give up a baby after... eeep. I'm not strong enough :P

Of course, why wouldn't be ok?
She just needs to keep reminding herself that she's only carrying the baby, that it's not actually hers. She should do whatever it takes to not become attached to the baby.
