What rubbish.

There are NO areas of scientific knowledge best left 'undiscovered'.

How can you ask such a question? I suppose we can infer that you are religious?

This is an absurd question from a scientific standpoint.

There no knowledge that should be purposefully left undiscovered.

Ethcical concerns for the restriction research (I think that is where you are going here) should be limited to restriction in favor of a prohibition on inflicting pain on live sentient beings, dogs, cats mice or monkeys or other animalsin the name of science.

There should be no restriction of research beyond this respect humanity should have for God's creatures other than him/herself.

Embryonic blastulas are neither developed nor capable of surviving without controlled condtions ex placental, nor sentient.

There are many thing's that humans shuold best leave undicovered. But our human curiosity urges us t learn everything there is and get to know it. I think that aliens should be left undiscovered because they might advanced tecnology than us and they might kill us if we do some lab tests on them or find them and land in their planet. Have you seen the movie Men in Black. Well the aliens are advanced so it could be like that. But i think us finding aliens are going to be a long time from now, so we dont have to worry about that.
And guys this is a good question and i have been wondering about this too.
Hope this helped you.

Knowledge is amoral. It is only people that have the capacity for morality or immorality.

If we stopped inquiring into the nature of things today, will you take the responsibility of justifying that decision to the next set of parents whose child is born with a disease we are on the verge of discovering a cure for?

If human curiousity is so great why is everyone reacting so negativly to your question?
She's just asking!!!
Anyway, I suppose in some ways it's best for people not to know some thing things, like if their religions are proved to be nonsense-especially if they have devoted their lives to it.
Although people are quite naive whe it comes to religions. My mum says she believes in Adam and Eve as well as Darwins theory of evoloution, so I suppose it doesn't matter either way.

I think the question of how they get the caramel in the caramilk bar should be left alone.. Some things are just better left to the imagination.

No, not undiscovered, because that is what we do best as humans. However, I think "Should we" is just as important as "Can we" i.e Cloning, GMO.

We haven't discovered it yet. Once it is discovered, it is too late. Your question isn't logical.
