My tonsils removed as a kid, I can still remember the dream I had under anesthetic to this day

Yes. When I was around twelve years old I had a real bad stomach pain for 2 and a half days and just couldn't figure out what the problem was so finally my father hauled me into the E.R. Turned out my appendix was about ready to explode and so the doctors performed an appendex operation on me to remove it.
In 1992 I had a hernia operation and that really hurt! I was only in the hospital for a few hours before getting discharged.

Nothing major. Toe nail surgery, they took away my big toe nail and it never grew back. I miss it ! A few weeks ago, had a big polyp removed from my colon. The sedation didn't work so I seen everything on screen...and damn well felt it all. Been lucky in that way, up to now

Yes, septorhinoplasty surgery (which you helped pay for if you pay taxes) to straighten out the cartilage in my nose. The military has some good doctors, so I let them do it.
You couldn't tell that I needed it, and I looked the same after I was done, but now there's no more annoying post-nasal drip!

I had my tubes tied about ten years ago, then a couple years ago I had surgery because I had a football-sized tumor on my uterus.

Plus a couple rounds of oral surgery. Pretty much nothing too major, thankfully.

I had a really freaky thing happen. I developed a stone in a savoury duct and whenever I ate my neck would swell up because the spit couldn't get out. No bigger than a grain of salt but it hurt like hell!

Hysterectomy, appendectomy, and I had plastic surgery on my eyes. None of the surgeries were a big deal for me.

One three occasions I have had sections of my colon removed, and I had a minor thing to remove a marble size lump on the side of my face.
