If they are so dead certain they don'twant kids can they change their minds?
Why do they do this?
If the woman in the relationship doesn't want kids and the guy changes his mind what are the chances of the relationship working out?

It sounds like you are either becoming broody yourself, or you know someone who is. As you probably know, usually the woman is portrayed as the broody one, but I know plenty of men who say they want to have children. There comes a point in mans life when he realises that he has to continue his bloodlines (dramatic, but true.) some little lad or lass to bring up with every thing he never had etc, etc... And when they are told by their partner that they do not want children it is kinda like a kick in the nutz (with pointy shoes!). This can cause immense friction in a relationship, often ending in seperation (as can actually having children if you are not ready!)
Hope this helps!

Everybody is entitled to change their minds no matter what.
The chances of success of a relationship in which one of the parties doesn't want kids but the other does are dim.

People of both sexes often change their minds about wanting to have children.

Sadly this tends to happen in their late 30s when it's harder and riskier.

I had my family early, and most of my friends said they were never going to have children. All but one them now have children.

They might have a stronger chance than people who have kids.
