What is an "Ann Summers party" ? Does it have a sexual connotation?

I think it is an English thing but since I am from Asia, I do not know what it means? This guy I know said it to me and I was wondering if it has a sexual connotation, when a guy says it to a girl?

Ann Summers is a large distributor of sex toys in the UK. They have house parties where a salesperson invites all her freinfds over to see the products. Much like a Tupperware Party in the U.S.
