Congratulations!

If rankings are important to you in your decision, here is some information (the one caveat, of course, is that some people do not think college rankings are a good metric).

In the U.S. News & World Report undergraduate engineering program survey for 2007, SUNY Stony Brook is tied for #60, along with such universities as Boston University, Illinois Institute of Technology, and Rochester Institute of Technology.

SUNY Binghampton is not among the top 97 in that survey.

You should view the engineering rankings in the context that the competition to be among the top U.S. engineering programs is keen. Only one Ivy League university is among the top 10, and only three are among the top 25. In that context, a top 60 program is probably a good program.

If you want to know about ranings specfically in electrical engineering, then you have to look at graduate program rankings. In electrical engineering SUNY Stony Brook was tied at #61. SUNY BInghampton was not in the top 77.

In terms of overall university rankings (not just the engineering program), SUNY Binghampton is ranked as #38 among all public schools, and SUNY Stony Brook is tied for #46 among all public schools.

SUNY Geneseo or Boston University. They're the best on your list so far.
