Different viruses react differently when placed in the same circumstances. The best definition I have heard of a virus is that it is a self-propagating chemical reaction. A virus is something that lies halfway between biology and chemistry.

virus remains in an inactiv form wen present in envirment just like any non living thinf but as soon as it enters the host it starts behaving as a fully functional organism it completes its life cycle n reproduces wid the help of host as it itself is not able to do it it inserts its DNA into hosts DNA wen tat part of DNA is transcribed it gives rise to other daughter viruses which move out n infect other cells of body thus cycles continue
