...then some ducks, whales, fruit flies (no pun intended here), and other creatures on God's green earth choose to be 'homosexual' too, much like some humans? are the 'lower' animals capable of such a choice, i wonder? hehehe...

You are absolutely right. Being gay is biological.
From the website http://www.news-medical.net/?id=20718

"One fundamental premise in social debates has been that homosexuality is unnatural. This premise is wrong. Homosexuality is both common and highly essential in the lives of a number of species," explains Petter Boeckman, who is the academic advisor for the "Against Nature's Order?" exhibition.

"To turn the approach on its head: No species has been found in which homosexual behaviour has not been shown to exist, with the exception of species that never have sex at all, such as sea urchins and aphis. Moreover, a part of the animal kingdom is hermaphroditic, truly bisexual. For them, homosexuality is not an issue.

This is a great article, I highly recommend reading it. Too bad it won't work for the trolls, though, seeing as how most of them can not read.

It sounds like you need to be set straight about something! first of all being gay is NOT A CHOICE, it is genetic and since I have the feeling that you don't have any idea what the means, it means that it is incoded into a person's genetic make up just like the color of your hair being from an ancestor about 2 or 3 generations ago. I would hope that you do some research and also that you come to understand that someone being homosexual is only a very small part of who they are.

it's about time someone recognizes this. I mean, animals can be able to be affectionate towards the same gender and still be accepted as animals. With us, it 's like the opposite. I don't know why we can't be like the animals and just accept gays/lesbians.

I don't know where you get your information, but try to keep up with me on this one. Homosexuality is not a choice it is they way they are born, animals most of them are homosexual, I believe dolphins are the only ones in animal kingdom that are heterosexual. Try reading something else instead of the bible that gives contradictory answers.

We have intelligence; lower animals have not enough, to say the least. We make choices, and that is one.

Lower animals can not make choices, they act on instinct.
