I miss family and the wide open roads to drive in the northwestern part of the USA. I am in Iraq confined to a small military base waiting and praying for peace and goodwill towards all men and women here and in Iran.

I have left my country about 10 years ago and last 2 years or so started to feel really home sick, I miss my family, the life style, friends, streets and almost everything part from the traffic and drivers,

I am planing to go back but it will take a couple of years..

Well, I am Canadian and Mexican and I travel a lot between the two:

When I leave Canada I really miss the excellent international food from everywhere in the world!

When I leave Mexico, what I really miss are Mexicans!

I really don't miss anything when leaving home for travel, in fact I feel more at home when being abroad! That is also a reason why I am planing to move.

yep, it's family first, food second, cities third and then all those things that you can't find anywhere else, even though they may be stupid or old or whatever. i only feel i love my country when i am away. sad, but it's the truth i experienced.

where are you from?
