When the soviet union crumbled the last chance of a nuclear world war went with it. Yes there still can be a world war but it is unlikely. If aliens do invade and they have better weapons and are decimating the world I suggest unless you have a weapon that you hide and run.

Not from another planet. The third world war is already here and is being fought by a few but so much of the world has not admited that it is hapening. The same as that part of the world didn't do anything to prevent the last two world wars.
I would think they would have learned after being nearly totaly blown to bits twice. It sure looks like they are doing it again.

I think either way it would be mutually assured destruction, most all major powers on earth have nuclear weapons, so we will all be dead if a third world war occurs, if we are invaded by a race, from a galaxy far,far away, they are probably much more intelligent than us..being that they are able to travel at faster than light speeds, there technology is far greater than ours,,,,
So in case either one happens, just stand out in the open, why hide from the inevitable.

The third world war has already started,but just like the history books say instead of WW2 beggining in 1939 as reconized by every nation except the US where it apparently started in '41.

Another world war was predicted to be inevitable, and it was said to occur from the middle East then spread toward the western civilizations. In fact, there's been signs of such things already in several nations in the Middle East. What you can do is to try to stop it from now and stop being so futile asking such questions like this one.

we first should think whether we can have peace with them... if they're too stubborn.. then we ourselves should join the army to help 'em... no other way to save up our world.. hope we dont face a situation as bad as THAT even in the future!!
