Blind dogs like blind people adapt to their surroundings. they may bump into things occaisonly but generally do well. If you move around things you should lead the dog through the area on leash and help them to become aquainted witht he new setip. People who own these dogs will be their eyes, so in away they have see eye humans. However dogs can adapt to the blindness better than humans can.

My little Peek is completely blind, although she does bump into things from time to time, she seems to do very well with just her senses. She is still able to jump up on the couch by herself and get around the yard, and play with the other dogs, she still even will chase the ball across the floor, takes her a minute to find where it stopped sometimes but she still enjoys doing it, so I would say no.
