I feel a little like I have a handover. Dull headache, eyes sensitive to light, and no energy. Sleeping-in wasn't to catch up on lost sleep or due to illness or staying up late. I go to bed at my normal time, and because its a week end I don't set my alarm. Any ideas?

You may be getting too much sleep. Every person is different in how much sleep they need.

You can sleep as many hours as you want, but if it's low quality sleep, you won't feel any better. Do you have a good mattress and pillow? Poor body alignment can ruin anyone's sleep. Tossing and turning alot can mess you up, too. Try doing stretches before bed to get yourself relaxed and also fix any problems with the alignment of your body. I'm a side sleeper so I tend to have this problem. I often end up with my lower spine curving downward into the mattress rather than aligned straight. To solve the problem I took a pillow of a desirable firmness and placed it under that section of my body to keep my spine aligned. I do the same when I lay on my back. Also, pillows under your head can throw off your body positioning. If you use too many or too firm pillows, it will keep your neck tilted upward and out of alignment. If the pillows are too thin, your head will be uncomfortable. Just remember: uncomfortable sleep is about as useful as not sleeping at all.

You've gotten too much sleep. What you should do, even though its the weekend, is set your alarm so that you don't get more then 8 hours of sleep. Usually, during the week I get 5 or 6 hours of sleep. But on the weekend, I get more. I always make sure though that I dont sleep more then 8 hours, so I'll set my alarm clock for say 10 am.

You slept to long. When you sleep longer than you normally do this is the feeling that you will get from too much sleep. The body normally only needs about 8 hours of sleep and when you slept for over 9 hours that caused the hangover type feeling.

If this is routine and happens to you everyday or frequently, you should perhaps check up with local doctor for sleep apnea.
