They are armchair protestors. They don't have the cajones to go protest themselves

They rather have dumb, young impressionbable collage students do their protesting for them. They don't want to risk being arrested themselves.

The liberal professors even offer extra credit for kids to attend these anti-American protests.

I have to work and I have to take care of family who could not travel with me. So I will just continue writing at least monthly to my representatives, circulating petitions, wearing buttons, collecting stuff for vets who are not being well cared for by our government. Spending time every week trying to end this war. Because I love my country and want to stop her from continuing a big mistake.

What are you doing this weekend?

EDIT: Good for you, more vets who support the war should be helping out like you are.

It is every American's right to protest the governments policy. I was flunked by a teacher in school and forced to repeat because I organized a Vietnam protest in 1969. I was a straight B student. I have been pummeled and jailed in war protests and it's a small price to pay for protecting our rights and stopping this insanity of war, that some Connecticut cowboy continues to build his ego.

Some of us just aren't into self-serving street theater that is pointless. As if Bush is going to look out his window, see a bunch of grumpy hippies and unwashed college students beating drums and burning flags, and say, "Oh! I was, like, so WRONG about this Iraq thing, man", and withdraw troops Sunday morning.

Yeah, dream on. Have fun at your weekend party. We all know you're so much better for taking the bus into DC while some of us have jobs and families to take care of. You know this won't make an iota of difference, but you and what others show up can stroke each other and yourselves, for a grande activist ego-trip.

Why are you not in Iraq? BTW, will Republicans support going into Iran to kill the terrorist in Iraq? What will Republicans do when any of Bush's new 300 civilians are taken hostage in Iraq? Sign up now.
