iTunes is like AIM or any other virus. Stay far far away from it. iTunes, just like the iPod are proprietary, meaning they dont work with anything but themselves. Get yourself a Sansa!

my friend just recently gave me her ipod to put songs on it and i used windows media. you put all the songs you want onto a playlist in your library and click sync. you could also just put them in a playlist in the sync both are the same amount of time, the only problem i had with it was that only a few songs would go on and i had to convert almost all of them

Download iTunes from Apple and install this program. When you are running setup, it will ask you if you want to import music from your computer. Answer yes and you're on your way.
