internet connection?

i have my laptop connected to a wireless router. when i am on the internet it always disconnects and says it cannot find a connection on the laptop. please help it could be just in the settings

First of all, update all the patches on Windows OS by using automatic update (can find it in Control Panel). Ha.. I assumed you use Windows OS.

could be, or it may be interference, cordless phones and small wireless devices like phones are on the same radio channel as wireless computer device. make sure your SSID is the same on the card and the router...any networking probs shoot me an email itstimpyo@yahoo good luck!
