Is it true about oolong and green tea. I have read .org websites that claims it works. Does it help to shed unwanted pounds, my uncle lives in Hapan and he says it works. I just need other asians (chinese/japaneese) opinions.

How much wait can it take off with proper dieting and exercise!

True i'm not from Asia but i do know of green teas effects. If you drink it during dinner or anytime really, it'll burn the calories faster, and reduces the amount of calories consumed normally from a meal. i've been drinking it for a long time and by eating properly, and exercising you can see yourself slimming down, and reducing the fat within a couple weeks.
And how much weight you lose depends on what you do exactly, proper diet and exercise are key to losing weight, and by drinking Green Tea is a great way to boost your metabolism.

No, it is a myth. One thing the oolong tea does do is help the body get rid of oil. For example, if you eat a lot of fried food and then drink oolong tea, your body will be able to get rid of the oil faster than it would without the tea. It is not a real diet food, but if you eat a lot of oily foods and start drinking the tea without eating less oily foods, you will notice a difference.

I live in Japan and drink ocha (green tea) everyday, but I'm not Japanese. However, I will tell you that it has a wonderful affect on my metabolism over the last 4 years living here. Also, Japanese say it helps digest your food better than other drinks. I have also heard that it has antioxidants and other disease preventing ingredients. Anyway, gombate and kanpai!

I was born in Asia but I am an Australian (and live in Australia). Can I still answer your question?
