I would like to know how much NaCl in grams i must use per litre of distilled water.

To find how much .04 moles of NaCl weighs, you need to look up the weight of Na and Cl and add them together. Sorry I don't have a chart with me. Then, multiply that by .04 and that is how many grams to add to your litre of water. If you have the container of NaCl (lab grade) then it should give you the molar weight right on the label.

0.04 mol/l Cl if equivalent to 0.04 x 35.5 = 1.42 g/l Cl-

To convert Cl- to NaCl use the gravimetric factor [NaCL]/[Cl] = 58.5 /35.5 = 1.648

Thus you require 1.42 x 1.648 = 2.34 g/l of NaCl
