Why say them if you have no intention of keeping them?

Your question is why to people lie and why do people break their word.

Well it happens all the time, so you might as well get used to it. There is an expression, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

You know plenty of people get married with the best of intentions, but later their actions are different from those intentions. It doesn't mean that they originally had no intention of keeping them.

I think your question seems to be based on the false premise that we live in a perfect world where everyone is nice.

Vows said is one thing and the problem is that a lot of
people do not want the responsiblity of keeping them. So
that is why a lot of them don't keep them; Marriage is
a responsibility of one to another in keeping the promises
made to each other so that they will be togeather through
their ups and downs, but a lot of people when they get to
the down part its a lot of easier for some people to escape
rather than stick it out.

because they married u for all of the wrong reasons, love not being one of them. they don't take marriage seriously anymore, and when they get into problems, which always happens, they are ready to move on with someone else, where at first it appears there aren't any problems. people take the marriage vows so lightly in this day, opposed to back years ago, think it is a lack of morals, and fear of the lord, and just the sign of the times, and how our world is going now.

Vows are words, it is always action that means the most. People say what they know people want to hear. Some say what they mean but the act of keeping your word comes from a desire to see oneself as of good character. This desire is all about loving oneself. If that desire is absent then keeping your word to someone is easy to break.

People say vows to extend their love for that special someone.Sometimes people say the vows for the wrong reasons. I believe marriage should be religious not so much legal. I have dound that Legal Marriage corupts ones mind into believing they are trapped. It doesnt have to be this way.

because america has changed. people dont realize that these vows were supposed to mean something more than just sex. people think that one thing goes wrong and the marriage is doomed. they dont try anymore. people dont even think about what the vows they made really mean and just go out and act as if they never said those words.

GOD doesn't take wedding vows lightly especially if they are made before him.
