I will try to save both, there is no such thing as can save only one. I dont care what the doctor will say, I will beat him up until he saves both of them. =). life is precious. I will never chose between them, I will tell the doctor to try to save both of them.I Dont want to chose death for anyone.Even if I had to... I wont chose death. Never and never. No sacrifices, you cruel poeple are so easy for you to chose and sacrifice the other. (Disapointed)..The mom wont allow her baby to die anyway, only if its a cruel mom.

Unless the mother explicitly indicated otherwise, the mother.
This assumes the mother cannot answer at the time. Otherwise she would have to choose.
But I doubt the question is ever that clear. Usually there are percentage chances, where doctors can work to save both with lesser chances of saving one versus the other.

The mother is already born and has an equal right to life as the unborn child (many would argue more). Legally, she almost always has more rights to life. Potentially, her life may be fuller, healthier and longer than her unborn child's life; on the other hand it may not be; we can't tell the future so we have to go with what is left.

I'd choose the Mom

Peace

The baby is of utmost importance. Atleast, that is what I feel.

You see, the main purpose of the union of the masculine and femenine is to carry on and pass on their generation. Thus, when the result of their union is well to be acheived, the purpose and the result have come to be safe and fullfilled.

The baby can constantly remind the father of his spouse and thus let the mother live on in his heart - making her immortal for his hunger to be loved and for guidence for parenthood.

The love that was lost beyond redemption and the true love that was lost can be revived in the babt itself. To illustrate it better, the love which was lost for the mother by her husband the father can be redirected to the baby as the baby is infact both of the parents and itself; a true unique form.

Thus according to me, the baby's life must indeed be saved.

Thank you.

The doctors always save the life of the mother first. Even during pregnancy the life of the mother comes first.

Well, as a parent I waould say save the baby because they have thier whole life ahead of them. Now as a jerk ( can't think appropriate term) save the mother, and she can have more children later.

This question is clearly answered in airplanes. You are instructed, in case the oxygen mask drops and the plane is in trouble, to first put the mask on yourself. Secondly on your child.

You must save the mother. there may be other children she needs to take care of.

its hard to say...it depends on how much chance that the baby will survive if the mother die...
i will choose the mother because she can get pregnant again...but i will feel guilty for not giving that innocent child a chance to know this world...but i believed that a child that died will go to heaven....

We do not have the right to play God and choose who lives and who dies so I would do my very best to fulfill my Hippocratic oath and save both.
