Depending on what position you are going after of. Do practice your swings of the bat as well as hitting. Make sure to get some catching in there as well as scooping up the ball and stopping the ball after a fly fall, good luck.

You cannot practice hitting too much. Can you get to a batting cage? Also, find a target on a brick wall and practice long, accurate throws. Jog and stretch so you show up to tryouts in shape.

You should do tee work and work with wiffles. You could also buy little golf-ball sized wiffles and practice hitting those. For throwing you could practice wrist snaps, and long throw. Make sure that when you throw and hit that you follow through. Good Luck!1

Well every single time at softball tryouts ( and baseball) they always do pop-ups for the outfield. They do ground balls for infield. they do hitting. after the 3rd pitch you run so make sure you can sprint your hardest.
