Our group is doing a newscast on the 3rd grade Georgia Performance Standards for Social Studies. A guy in our group is going to dress up as Paul Revere and I am going to interview him. What questions could I ask? We are presenting this to our fellow classmates who are pretending to be 3rd graders. Any suggestions?

Do not ask him when the British were coming! He was BRITISH! They all were British and it wasn't until the civil war was over that the term American came into the vocabulary of North Americans.
Ask him who was with him when he rode with his warning that the army had arrived. He wasn't the only one on gaurd there were other men who rode with him. Ask him what time it all started and who was he answerable to? Who were his superiors? What motivated him? How did his wife react to his work in this civil unrest? Did she help as well?
These are some of the questions that could be asked but don't ask assuming that he was not British...he was...and so was everyone involved with him against the monarchy.

If your audience is going to be 3rd graders, then pose questions that a 3rd grader might like:

Ask him if they had peanut butter and jelly back then. Ask him he if was scared when he saw the British coming. Ask him what his horse's name is. Ask him if he went to 3rd grade. Ask him if he thinks that Social Studies is a good subject.

Make it interesting, only peppering in bits of historical information. That way you won't lose your 3rd grade audience's attention.

Good luck.
