Being married means that I get to live and experience life with my best friend!
Being married to a Soldier - means I get to travel and meet a ton of new people. Each time we hear we might get "orders" we begin talking about all of the cool places we could go and see"... it is exciting!
I was married 1 before I met and married my current husband! During (and after) my divorce... I was extremely skepitcal - I thought the idea of marriage was a lie. Then, I was lucky enough to have my current husband brought into my life - he is wonderful.... and I base my views of the institution of marriage off my current marriage!
Overall, I enjoy sharing both the good time and struggles with someone I know will love me forever!

Actually the definition of marriage changed several times since I said "I Do". At first it meant I get all the sex I want. And that's it! Then came the divorce in 5 short years. Next marriage my perspective changed slightly. Now I get to have my friend around all the time, plus I get sex all the time. Strange how that last part clings on huh? Then things morph some more, I focus on responsibility, shared responsibility, creativity, humor, romance, strength and weakness, and I can have sex all the time. lol That part just won't go away! 18+ years later, and going strong! I'm more in love now than yesterday. I can honestly say that everyday I've been married, well maybe not that one day in September...... but that involved pain. The message I'm trying to send is that once you say "I Do" all the mystical magical information about marriage doesn't download immediately. Marriage is a journey. In the dictionary it should be a verb. An action, Like love!

Being married is a very special thing. You live for your spouse and you. Everyday is special and loving each other and caring for each others needs. Respect is top on the list next to having trust in each other. There should never be any doubts about one self if the marriage is real and true. It meant everything to me, it was my dream, it was the chance to have the family I had never had. I worked really hard at it, and it broke my world into a million pieces when he left for someone else.
Now marriage to me, is a word. it has no depth, no promise, nothing. Two people who meet and think what they feel is enough to build an entire life together on. Except you never know when or where they will meet the next person they hope to build a future with might appear, you end up looking over your shoulder all the time, round corners, distrusting everyone.
I put everything into it, he took everything.

marriage is not as simple as it sounds.
marriage is occasion when two people decide to be together for rest of their lives and agree that they are going to be together in sorrows and happiness and does not matter what. - these are words of commitment.
these words which we swear upon actually mean a lot of responsibility. this means that both of the people have taken responsibility of each other. thay are physically two people but they run as one system.
sad to know that we all know this fact and still dont comply by it.

For me its having the man of my dreams with me all the time.
Its having by best friend with me and me with his best friend.
Its the best experience and one of the hardest experiences i've had and i wouldn't trade it for anything.

No money for myself to spend without getting permission
No more sex
No more having a life
